February 23, 24 & 25 - WWRR Hockessin Art Show
This art show is a fundraiser for the Wilmington & Western Railroad and will be held at the Hockessin Memorial Hall at Rt. 41 and Yorklyn Roads, Hockessin, DE.  Hours are Friday evening 5pm to 8pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm. General admission is $3, children under 12 free.  You can also enjoy a train ride, the local train will be departing every hour on Sat. and Sun., tickets are $5. This show features 28 artists, each of whom will have a booth area.  I will be exhibiting both originals and prints in a large booth area of 10 panels!  For more info go to www.wwrr.com  
March 2 - Kid’s Cook Off for Wilmington Flower Market
I will unveiling the original painting for the 2018 Wilmington Flower Market poster!!! The Second Annual Kid’s Cook Off is Friday, March 2nd, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm at The University and Whist Club, 805 North Broom Street, Wilmington, DE 19806. Single tickets are $50, pair of tickets $90. The Kid’s Cook Off event teams talented local chefs with lively junior chefs who participate in programs that WFM fund via their Beneficiary Agencies. Dishes are prepared from a ‘mystery basket’ of ingredients and are reviewed by a panel of judges. This live event will be hosted by WSTW’s Mike Rossi and is a fun evening for the entire family. I will also have for sale some additional artwork - specially created for The Wilmington Flower Market - as well as other pieces. A Silent Auction is also part of this entertaining event and plenty of food and drink will also be available. The WFM Pre-Market Events were established as ‘rain insurance’ to help offset the impact inclement weather events have on the annual Flower Market held the three days prior to Mother’s Day in May of each year. Set your calendar for this year’s Wilmington Flower Market: May 10th, 11th and 12th.  WFM's mission is to fund programs benefiting at-risk children throughout Delaware. March 16 & 17 - Chadds Ford Art Sale & Show
I will be exhibiting in the historic Chadds Ford Art Sale & Show which is held at the Chadds Ford Elementary School, 3 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, PA 19317 ( U.S. Route 1, across from the Brandywine River Museum). I am proud to announce that I am this year's "Donating Artist". I will be donating a painting which you will have the opportunity to win by purchasing raffle tickets! As "Donating Artist" I will then be given a much larger exhibit space a the show, a full 8 panels, plus a bin of prints! The Opening Gala is Friday evening from 7pm to 10pm. April 14 - A Taste for Art
"A Taste for Art" features local artists showcasing original pieces in a range of medias; tantalizing culinary stations hosted by aspiring hospitality students; open bar with a variety of wines and custom cocktails; butler passed hors d'oeuvres: and respected corporate, civic and community leaders as it’s honored guests. To be held from 6 to 10pm at the renowned Greenville County Club, 201 Owls Nest Road, Wilmington, DE 19807. Proceeds benefit Children and Families First of Delaware. April 29 to May 13 - Yellow Springs Art Show
This is one of the longest running, and most prestigious shows in the area.  Since its inception in 1973, the art show has become Historic Yellow Spring's most important fund raising event.  I am proud to have my work juried into this show.  All framed paintings are originals, and are hung "salon style" with over 3000 paintings by 180 artists.  I will be allowed to bring 4 primary original pieces, up to 8 miniatures, and up to 20 limited edition prints.  The show is located at: Historic Yellow Springs, 1685 Art School Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425.  An opening Gala is held on Friday, April 27 from 6 to 9pm (tickets are required for the opening night.) The show is open each day from April 29th to May 13th, 10am to 4pm., free admission.  For more information go to YellowSprings.org   
May 10, 11 & 12 - Wilmington Flower Market
I am proud to be this year's Wilmington Flower Market poster artist! I will be at the event in Rockford Park in Wilmington, DE for a few hours each day of the event. I will have a booth where the 2018 Flower Market poster, along with my other artwork, will be available for purchase. The sales benefit charities for children in Delaware. The Flower Market is more than just flowers! They have rides, a food court, a Beer & Wine Garden and terrific entertainment! Free admission!  May 31, June 1 & 2- DFVA Greenville Art Show
The Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts will hold its annual outdoor Greenville Art Show at the Greenville Crossing I Shopping Center on Rt. 52 (Kennett Pike), Greenville, DE.  Hours are Thursday 11am to 6pm,  Friday 11am to 6pm, Saturday 11am to 4pm. Featuring over 30 outstanding Brandywine Valley artists exhibiting their original works of art.  Each artist displays their works on one 4 foot by 8 foot panel, which are set up outdoors under the canopy of the shopping center. I will have new originals - not yet published on my web site at this show! There will also be bins of unframed original artwork. Free parking, free admission. If one of those days gets rained out, the show will continue on to Sunday, June 3 from 11am to 4pm.
July 31 to August 31 - DFVA Leadership Show
A juried show of artwork by members of the Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts to be held at the Newark Art Alliance, 276 E. Main Street, Suite 102, Newark, DE. The juror of selection is Jay Pastore, the Artistic Director of the Rehoboth Art League. The works will be available for purchase. Please join us for the Opening Reception on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 6 to 8pm, free admission, refreshments will be served. The show continues through the end of August. October 5, 6 & 7 - Daylesford Abbey Art Show
An art show to raise funds for the Daylesford Abbey will feature over 30 outstanding local artists. The Friday evening opening reception is 5 to 8pm and admission is a $10 donation. The show continues Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday noon to 5. Located at 220 s. Valley Road, Paoli, PA 19301. Daylesford Abbey is nestled amid 81 acres of lush countryside in Philadelphia’s western Main Line suburbs, the Abbey focuses on liturgy and worship, and provides people of all ages and religious backgrounds a wide range of programs and resources to foster spiritual well-being in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. A key feature of the Abbey is its Spirituality Center, which offers 36 newly renovated rooms for overnight guests. Spiritual direction is offered upon request and a theological library is available for guests.
October (tba) - White Clay Creek Paint Out & Art Show
New this year! The "Friends of the White Clay Creek" is sponsoring an artist's paint out day along with a show of artwork in the London Tract Meeting House, located at 307 London Tract Road, Landenberg, PA 19350. Artists will set up along the trails to "plein aire" paint. Meet the artists, talk to them about their work! Food trucks and activities for the children are also planned. The hours are 10am to 3pm, with Sunday, October 8th as the rain date. Your purchase of artwork at the meeting house will benefit "The Friends of the White Clay Creek."  Hope you can come out and enjoy the artwork and the beautiful trails along the creek!
November 2 & 3 - DFVA Art Show at Christ Church Wilmington, DE
The Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts will hold an art show to raise funds for its DFVA Scholarship Program for Delaware Students pursuing a career in the arts. The show will feature artwork by many outstanding local artists. This generation of artists helping the next generation of artists! The show will be held at Christ Church located at 505 East Buck Road, Wilmington, DE 19807. Friday evening's reception will feature wine and refreshments. Admission is $5 (free for 18 and under). Hours are Friday 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm.
November 9 & 10 - Church of the Advent Artisan Fair

The Episcopal Church of the Advent is located less than a mile south of the PA route 1 and PA route 82 intersection. Take route 82 South/Kennett Square exit and find us just off North Union Street, just past the Union Hill Cemetery. Pre-holiday shopping at its finest. More Artists this year! This Artisan Fair will be even bigger and better! Plan on coming back Saturday with more friends to buy another unique piece for yourself or for someone on your gift list. I plan on having a few display racks of my work, plus a print bin and cards.
November 23 to January 5 - Hardcastle Galleries Miniature Show
Hardcastle Gallery will be holding its Annual Holiday Small Works Art Show.  A special Preview Event is on Friday, November 24th, 10am to 5pm. A Festive Opening Reception will be held Friday, December 1 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm with music and refreshments.  I will have 5 small paintings in this show. The small size make these pieces perfect for gift giving, or for your own collection of original artwork. The show will be held at 5714 Kennett Pike, Centreville, DE 19807, (look for the "Frederick's Country Center" sign.) November 24 - Howard Pyle Studio Holiday Show
As a member of the Howard Pyle studio group, I will be exhibiting in their show at the historic studio located at 1305 North Franklin Street, Wilmington, DE 19806. The holiday show will also have Studio 2 open with sales of prints, cards and jewelry, and Studio 3 with original paintings. This year will feature hand painted original Christmas ornaments made by the members. Proceeds from the sale of these ornaments go to our building fund. Be sure to stop by to see the work by this talented group of 34 women. Refreshments will be served, admission is free. Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Street parking, or use the Westminster Church parking lot (a short 2 block walk).
